Genya is delivered pre-assembled with prewired electrical cabinet. Once the customer has positioned the machine, only the front housings remain to be fitted. The entire assembly and start-up phase can be completed in 5 days. Genya can be easily relocated on the customer's site to accommodate possible changes to the production layout.

The robust spindle fitted as standard, rated at up to 21,6 kW with service factor S6, provides all the power and torque needed to exploit the possibilities offered by the discs fully with high performance and thus increase productivity by as much as 50% compared to standard market values.
The spindle vacuum cups, which use a Venturi system unlike conventional suction cups, extract air, water and dirt directly at source, with the benefit of not clogging the lines and thus avoiding faults and uncontrolled release of workpieces. The increase in output combined with the reduction in idle times make Genya the most productive cutting centre on the market.

The hot galvanised monobloc structure offers exceptional robustness in the most demanding machining operations and excellent resistant to corrosion through time. This type of structure, which is specifically designed so that the machine can be shipped ready assembled, does not require foundations and thus allows easy repositioning if necessary.
The tilting table, integrated in the monobloc structure, descends almost to floor level, making slab loading and unloading operations exceptionally easy and safe.

In addition to the cutting disc, Genya's motor axis can accept a mill or core drill bit, which remains on the machine also during other process phases. Also, the machine can be equipped with the Rocket Tool system (optional), composed of an extra motor spindle that can reach 14,000 rpm, on which to install end cutter tools for inside corner cuts.
Having up to four tools ready for use means all the work processes involved in creating a kitchen worktop or vanity top can be executed swiftly, without having to unload the workpiece and load it on a different machine.
The OSOB digital camera on the bridge is optimally sited to capture the slab that has just been loaded, while the spindle-mounted vacuum cups can move the newly cut workpieces, thereby minimising material wastage.

The Siemens 24" touch screen control panel provides the operator with improved interaction, with easy programming of the required cuts by means of a few touches on the screen. The Breton Sphera interface allows tablet-type interaction with the system, so positioning and measurements are carried out simply by swiping the screen, with each phase guided by a wizard.The software runs on Windows 10 and can be used in two modes: Easy and Advanced.
Easy mode is designed for simple operations or for less expert operators, and it allows programming in just a few steps. It includes functions such as “manual nesting”, wherein the operator can manually build a cutting layout by using a finger to drag the polygons on the screen, and “magnet”, which helps the operator align the polygons alongside one another in order to reduce the number of cuts.
Advanced mode makes it possible to use the full potential of the software, exploiting all the available functions.
Breton Vein Matching is used to plan cutting operations, simultaneously coupling 8 different slabs and matching veining to achieve a continuous vein effect while viewing the final result obtained in 3D.

Although Genya has a generous equipment package as standard, Breton has prepared a series of accessories to meet specific requirements. Alongside the main spindle, the machine can be equipped with the Rocket Tool or Label Pro printer, to identify and track the cut pieces and keep tabs on them until they are installed in situ. Kerasplit, the all-new patented scoring system for ceramic slabs can work with slabs up to 8 mm thick, rapidly and with zero tool wear, no wasted energy consumption, and without creating swarf – an important factor when working with veined materials.
Genya can also be fitted with an 8,000 rpm 21.6 kW (S6) spindle with automatic tool changer operating with a 10-tool 2-disc magazine. To maintain slab thickness cutting capacity unchanged, large diameter discs can be installed on the spindle shaft with flanges.
