Full interview
Mr. Lukas Vanschamelhout, Business Owner of Bouchar, tells us about the company.
It was an engaging conversation about the company’s story, the motivations behind choosing Breton machinery, and its plans for future business development.
Sixteen years with Breton
For sixteen years, Bouchar Natursteen has relied on Breton as a key technological partner, progressively expanding its fabrication capabilities with an increasingly advanced portfolio of Breton machinery.
Today, the company operates six Breton machines, ranging from single-head polishing machines to high-precision cutting centers, as well as CNC contouring units that ensure efficient workflows and consistently high-quality stone processing.

Why Trinity
The company’s latest investment is the Breton Trinity.
This solution was chosen to handle an increasing number of special kitchen projects that require precise cut-outs and high-quality vein matching on natural stone and ceramics.
While the initial goal was to acquire a waterjet system, the evaluation process highlighted Trinity’s added value: a hybrid architecture that combines synchro blade cutting and waterjet for superior performance, especially on ceramic materials. Following installation, Breton provided full training to ensure immediate and efficient operation.

Future projects
Bouchar Natursteen works across multiple sectors, producing kitchen tops, bathroom elements, staircases, and larger architectural components in natural stone. Its capabilities span from processing 6 mm materials to cutting blocks up to 40 cm, allowing both fine details and substantial structures.
Looking ahead, the focus is on further enhancing milling capabilities. Future investments may include technologies that will enable the creation of larger and more complex pieces.
