Breton Integrex significantly increases gloss ratings by applying and spreading a dedicated surface treatment. The robust load bearing structure specifically designed for this type of application, combined with the many settings that can be selected directly from the touch-screen, make Integrex extremely versatile: flexibility in setting the various work parameters makes it possible to achieve the best results in any situation.

Breton Integrex guarantees a uniform finish at high material feed speeds thanks to the Vortex 7-satellite heads, specifically designed for applications on ceramic materials.

Technological highlights

  • Integrex can be equipped with the patented Tango spindles movement system. Thanks to this innovative technology, the spindle path can be optimised and customised based on the beam swing speed, compensating for acceleration and deceleration ramps. This translates into more uniformity of surface finish without opaque areas.

    Tango Movement

  • Thanks to the 7 satellite tools installed, considering the same rotation speeds the new Vortex head guarantees more complete coverage of the treated surface with respect to the traditional heads widely used in the sector.
    The special internal greasing circuit and the air cooling system guarantee optimal lubrication of mechanical parts and even temperature redistribution throughout the machine. This makes it possible to limit the level of mechanical and thermal stress to which the head is constantly subjected, reducing the frequency of maintenance operations and running costs.
    Finally, the rapid tool coupling/decoupling system results in an appreciable reduction in set-up times.

    Vortex Head

  • Dosing of the sealant liquid is performed by dedicated peristaltic pumps, one for each treatment head, directly controllable from the operator monitor.
    The dosing circuit allows product delivery to the centre of the head followed by uniform distribution on the slab surface.
    The circuit can be split into 2 sections on request so two different treatments can be applied on the same machine simultaneously.

    Double dosing circuit

  • All the machine parameters can be set up and managed from a user-friendly interface:
    - spindle rotation speed
    - swing speed and associated beam acceleration and deceleration ramps
    - conveyor belt feed speed
    - working pressure
    - peristaltic pump flow rates.
    The software also allows working recipes to be saved in accordance with the materials and liquids used, reducing the machine set-up times.

    Advanced software for total control

  • Thanks to the double dosing circuits and the peristaltic pumps for each spindle, Integrex can operate as a simple pore filler operating at a pre-set working height, or it can provide super-glossing treatment by controlling the working pressure with proportional valves. This characteristic means optimal results on any material with a single machine.
