Each process has a dedicated software environment, and each control is designed to be intuitive

The operator is always guided when programming cuts: the software proposes exclusively “logically possible” operations at each step; a sort of “tutor” that makes it possible to save hours of work by avoiding errors and oversights.

Also, the slabs in the system can be easily selected and identified because, unlike standard commercial applications, the system has a preview function: scrolling rapidly through the database means you can easily find what you wish to cut.

QuiCut

The easiest and fastest way to cut a slab

With QuiCut you can:

take a photograph of the slab
make a succession of single longitudinal and cross cuts to create a matrix
acquire machine dimensions with real time updating of the diagram on the screen
manage several workpieces of different sizes and thicknesses on the same work table, acquiring their measurements through a camera
cutting parameters at your fingertips with info in the help section

Breton Sphera provides highly evolved apps and functions capable of reducing programming times even in ultramodern fabshops.

Breton Sphera can define sequences of cutting and workpiece movement operations automatically to optimise productivity and allow the operator to take action whenever necessary.

The operator can also concentrate on programming the machining process for the next slab while the machine is working.

Automatic sequences
Breton Sphera manages automatic nesting of the cutting layout also of imported DXF files in order to use the slab surface area to the full. The pieces to be cut can be inserted, moved, rotated, and connected to other pieces (automatic snap) simply by touching the multi-touch screen.

Drag and drop nesting
Breton Sphera allows automatic optimisation of the slab surface by computing a series of factors and combination experiences and proposing the most appropriate cutting layouts for the pieces to be produced.

It anyway gives the operator the possibility of changing or forcing certain conditions. The resulting savings in time and especially in material is often highly significant.

Slab surface optimisation
The interface features smartphone derived multitouch technology: a different and more powerful way of working that allows page scrolling, pinch zooms, fingertip drawing, rotation of workpieces and far more besides. Mouse and keyboard are anyway still available.

The operator can use the contextual help function to better understand the operation of each command thanks to dedicated video tutorials.

Constant operator support
The machine on-board CAD program allows simple and immediate drawing of the shapes to be created on the slab also using predefined parametric figures, without having to go to the office.

Integrated CAD functions
After digital acquisition of the slab image by the camera, Breton Sphera allows you to choose the slab to be processed in the digital repository, and to draw the perimeter on the slab in question and mark defects by tracing them with your finger.

The Breton Sphera suite is installed in the machine touch screen panel and is available also in an office version.
