Breton Hawx E1

Breton Hawx is delivered preassembled with a prewired electrical cabinet. Once the customer has positioned the machine, only the front housings remain to be fitted. The entire assembly and start-up procedure takes just 5 days: in the first 3 days the machine is unloaded, anchored, and completed, start-up takes place on day 4 while day 5 is reserved for training. Hawx can be easily relocated on the customer's site to accommodate possible changes to the production layout.

Hornet, thanks to the double offset of the A axis with respect to the RAM centre, allows you to machine wider workpieces with the same X and Y linear strokes, both with the tool vertical and with the A axis at 90°.
The generous rotation of the A axis (-105° +135°) enables undercut machining, reducing the need to reposition the workpiece, with a consequent increase in precision and elimination of a second set-up phase.

There are several work table set-up solutions available: flat table with threaded holes, vacuum table, table with with mesh gratings and collection bins.

The automatic 8-cell tool store, placed outside the work area, makes tool loading/unloading completely safe for the operator, with no need to suspend the work cycle. Thanks to the solution's modularity, capacity can be easily increased up to a maximum of 64 cells.

The box-in-box architecture of the bridge-carriage-RAM unit guarantees an increase in stiffness to achieve greater accuracy and repeatability through time, also in heavy duty machining operations.

Allows in line energy recovery during braking, so there's no need to dissipate energy on the braking resistor.
