Combi is delivered pre-assembled with prewired electrical cabinet. The entire assembly and start-up phase can be completed in 5 days. Combi can be easily relocated on the customer's site to accommodate possible changes to the production layout.

The presence of these three tools makes Combi a complete and versatile cutting centre. The disc is used to make linear cuts, both straight and angled, and wide radius circular cuts. Waterjet technology, in which the slab is cut by a very high pressure jet of water mixed with abrasive material, makes it possible to perform precision work processes that are not possible with the disc, such as inside cuts, tight corners and small size holes.
Conversely, the Rocket Tool system, composed of an additional motor spindle that can reach 14,000 rpm, can be used with end cutters or a core drill bit. Keeping all 3 tools mounted means that all the work processes required to create a kitchen worktop or bathroom top can be performed without having to unload the workpieces to transfer them to other machines.

The Breton Sphera suite, available for this cutting centre, automatically proposes the best cutting process to the operator in terms of time, cost, and slab surface optimisation. From this perspective, the system know when to use the disc and when to use the waterjet.
The robust spindle fitted as standard, rated at up to 21.6 kW with service factor S6, provides all the power and torque needed to exploit the possibilities offered by the discs fully with high performance and thus increase productivity by as much as 50% compared to standard market values. Also waterjet cutting is controlled completely by the system, which automatically defines the abrasive quantity and the necessary pressure, taking into account the parameters entered during programming.

The monobloc structure machined from a single piece and then hot galvanised offers both the robustness needed for the most demanding work cycles and lasting corrosion resistance. This type of structure, specifically designed to deliver the machine to the customer in pre-assembled form, allows for easy repositioning of the machine on the site, also because it does not require foundations.
The tilting table integrated in the structure descends to floor level, making slab loading and unloading operations exceptionally easy and safe. The stainless steel water collection tank is located under the bed.

The One Shot on Board (OSOB) camera installed on the bridge and perfectly perpendicular to the work table, is optimally located to take photos of the slab that has just been loaded to allow the operator to assess various cutting layouts directly on the Combi HMI before starting the machining cycle.

You can choose from a wide range of accessories designed to meet different processing requirements.
Alongside the main spindle, the machine can be equipped with the Rocket Tool or Label Pro automatic printer, to identify and track cut pieces.
The low thicknesses kit allows installation of discs with thin core and teeth for cuts on ceramic materials or in order to limit cutting kerf.
By moving cut pieces between one work process and the next, the spindle vacuum cups make it possible to minimise cutting kerf.
The robustness and versatility that were lacking
Combi’s strength is that it makes it possible to use disc cutting and waterjet cutting without having to move the slab and to choose the best technology in terms of efficiency, depending on the operation to be performed. The machine will therefore opt for disc cutting, more economical, when possible, and switch to waterjet technology in all other cases. This serves to minimise the production of scrap and execute work processes more in less time and hence at lower cost. It is also possible to create inclined planes without having to mill the workpiece surface but merely by exploiting variable angle waterjet cutting with continuous touch probing performed by the Miterwave Touch system.
Major advantages for higher productivity also derive from the spindle on-board vacuum cups that make it possible to move the pieces to use the disc cutting function. In addition, installing the Rocket Tool system – an additional motor spindle that can reach up to 14,000 rpm, on which to mount end cutters or core drill bits – allows the execution of through holes, blind holes, milled recesses and rebates.
